What a fantastic weekend at the North Lancs Level 3 Open Meet (5–6 July) – and what a way to round off our final gala of the season before we head into the summer break.

  • 11 Golds
  • 8 Silvers
  • 5 Bronzes
  • 71% PBs

Our swimmers gave it everything – from those achieving personal bests, to first-time competitors stepping up with confidence, to seasoned Makos taking on new challenges. Your hard work, team spirit, and determination made us all incredibly proud.

A huge thank you to our brilliant poolside team and volunteers who helped make the weekend such a success:

  • Head Coach Les and Coach Steve – for your guidance and motivation throughout the weekend
  • Aimee, Helen, Jaime, Clare, Christine, and Nicki – thank you for your support, encouragement, and keeping things running smoothly
  • Kerry – a special thank you for stepping up as one of our officials

You all play such an important role in helping our swimmers succeed, and we’re so grateful for the time and energy you give to the club.
