The Fleetwood Makos Youth Swimming Club is launching an exciting, high-energy fundraiser — the Mako’s Mega Spin Challenge — a 24-hour sponsored spinning event to raise vital funds for the renovation of our community clubhouse.
Location: Fleetwood YMCA – Makos Clubhouse
Date & Time: From 6PM on 15th August to 6PM on 16th August
This non-stop challenge will see our members, families, and supporters take turns on the spin bikes in half-hour slots to keep the pedals turning all day and night. From junior swimmers and teens to parents and coaches, the whole Makos community is getting involved to make this a true team effort.
Why we're doing it:
Our clubhouse is more than just bricks and mortar — it’s a place where young athletes grow, friendships are built, and memories are made. With your support, we aim to transform it into a modern, welcoming space that reflects the energy and dedication of the Makos community.
