WELL DONE MAKOS – A SWIM LEAGUE TEAM TO BE PROUD OF
Yesterday marked the final round of the 2025 North Lancs Swim League, and while we only narrowly missed out on higher standings—and we’re incredibly proud of the effort and heart shown by every single swimmer.
It was a tough day, with illness and injury taking out several of our team swimmers, but that didn’t stop the Makos from showing up and standing tall. A huge thank you to the swimmers (and parents!) who stepped in at the last minute, many racing up an age group or taking on extra events to make sure we had a full team on the day. That kind of commitment is what makes this club special.
Even more impressive was the poolside energy, our swimmers cheering their teammates on, supporting one another, and showing true Fleetwood spirit from start to finish. That’s what the Swim League is all about.
To all our athletes, volunteers, coaches, and supporters: thank you for your dedication throughout the league season. You’ve trained hard, raced harder, and represented Fleetwood with pride.
Bring on the next challenge, Makos don’t back down!
