Fantastic Results for Fleetwood Makos at the North West Championships Weekend2!

We’re proud to celebrate a brilliant weekend of racing for two of our swimmers at the Swim England North West Summer Championships 2025! 

  • Jack raced superbly, delivering a great performance in his 100m Butterfly, showing strength , speed, and great determination against some of the best swimmers in the region. 
  • Jasper Gibson-Bird had a packed weekend of racing and absolutely shone – winning 2 silver medals, reaching the finals in all three of his events, and achieving personal best times across the board! 

  Both swimmers showed true Makos spirit giving it their all, supporting each other, and making the club proud with their effort and achievements. 

 A huge well done to Jack and Jasper – your hard work and dedication is inspiring for everyone at Fleetwood Makos Swimming Club!
