Swim England's SwimMark accreditation for clubs

SwimMark accreditation is Swim England’s quality standard for clubs.  It recognises high standards of governance, sustainability and effectiveness.

What is SwimMark about?

Creating the best possible swimming experience for all.

Raising the quality of aquatics provision across all areas.

The benefits of SwimMark accreditation

Securing SwimMark accreditation enhances club management, strengthens structures, and unites clubs. It offers clubs a philosophy and programmes to help ensure the best environment for swimmers.

It also offers Sport England recognition that you are providing a quality service for all members, through its Clubmark status.

Fleetwood and District Swimming Club currently holds the SwimMark accreditation awarded by Swim England.

Swim England's Wavepower 2024: Child safeguarding policy and procedures for clubs

The aim of Wavepower is to safeguard all children in line with current legislation, regulations and guidance and is for use within any Swim England affiliated organisation where children are present.

Wavepower consistently emphasises that the responsibility for child safeguarding in our sport belongs with all those involved in our sports and is not the sole responsibility of any one person at local, county or national level.
